behind it
MidWest Health Network suffered from fragmented patient data siloed across decades-old EHR instances. Keyhole Software designed and implemented a modern API gateway that normalizes various data formats into a unified FHIR-compliant repository, providing clinicians with a 360-degree view of patient history.
What stood in the way
Each facility used different data standards (HL7 v2, CSV, SQL), making real-time clinical decision support impossible. Doctors were forced to log into multiple portals to see a patient’s full history, significantly increasing the risk of medical oversight.
How we made it happen
