The story
behind it
Workholo collaborated with Virgin Money to design, build, and deploy a next-generation mobile banking experience. The primary goal was to replace legacy systems with a modern, scalable architecture that could support millions of concurrent users while delivering a premium, intuitive UI.

The existing mobile offering was hardware-limited and fragmented across different services. Virgin Money needed a solution that consolidated personal, savings, and credit accounts into one seamless interface while adhering to strict Open Banking regulations and high-security standards.
How we made it happen
Workholo implemented a React Native architecture for rapid cross-platform deployment without compromising on native performance. Our teams focused on micro-frontend integration, biometrics (FaceID/TouchID), and real-time transaction processing using a robust AWS-backed infrastructure.
